Terms of use
Last updated: 2 November 2026
These are the terms for using RemoteMyDesktop. They are written to be read. They are a starting point; for a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, have them reviewed by counsel.
Use it on machines you're allowed to
Only connect to a computer you own or have clear permission to access. Using remote access to reach someone else's machine without their consent is not allowed, and in most places it is against the law. The consent prompts exist to keep everyone honest, so do not try to defeat them.
Early-access software
RemoteMyDesktop is at version 0.1. We work hard on the parts that matter, the encryption and the permission model, but the software is provided as is, without warranties. Do not rely on it as the only safeguard for something critical.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your machines and their keys reasonably secure.
- Only grant the capabilities you intend to grant in a session.
- Do not use the service to break the law or to harm others.
Paid plans
Paid plans are billed as described at checkout. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We will tell you before any price change that affects you.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, RemoteMyDesktop is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the software or service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date.
